BAND AU MATSUNO HCs‼️‼️‼️

honestly they're very new so i don't have like. a Ton of ideas yet and kinda make shit up as i go but ido have a few hcs buzzing around

namely that this is (personally) the only version of osomatsu i could see being bisexual HDSHRGIUREHGIU and it suuperrr plays into like. how opehn the sibs are about their identities. and ruby doesn't try to act like an asshole, he's actually a pretty responsible leader and a brother figure they all look up to. their dynamics are quite the same as they were when the matsunos were kids

if anything i'd say they started out being at each others throats and NEVER getting along… until one day they lemonade mouth'd on accident. and ever since. they're super close. It's literally reversing the dynamics between San and Kun.

this means that… oso and choro are a close duo, ichi and jyushi are still a close duo, and totty and kara are a close duo.

Due to the fact that they are not sextuplets, they do not have as terrible of identity issues and I think it's the only reason they're really better off / have their shit together and are so like, confident in their identities. If they were sextuplets it would have been just like canon. This is why I have separated them into twins. The birth order is still the same.

ages are;

oso+kara = 24

choro + ichi = 22

jyushi + todo = 20

also they did actually used to be called their original names but they legally changed them to gem names for the band and other reasons i'll get into later.

the idea for everyone having gem names comes from the fact that choros name is changed to jade in this au, and while he's the ONLY one with a gem name I didn't care for the canon names just being… Oso, kara, jade, itchy, juicy, todo. It's boring. I like whatever choro had going on

So.. their new legal first names goes as so:

osomatsu -> ruby

karamatsu -> lapis

choromatsu -> jade

ichimatsu -> agate

jyushimatsu -> topaz

todomatsu -> spinel

Their last name is Hoshino instead of matsuno; I do think they call their band !!!MATSUNO!!! though. I see a bunch of people call it fujio rock but that's not actually their band name as far as I can tell -- that's the name of the overall au / it's parodying real world festival Fuji rock.

Each of the Hoshinos have similar hair; they're actually defined by sharing similar hair dye jobs with who their closest to. This is based off of how it is in Canon too.

Ruby and Jade have half their hair dyed, agate and topaz have nearly fully dyed heads of hair with natural hair streaks, and lapis and spinel only have a few color streaks framing both sides of their faces.

Their music is largely scene, but they dabble in ska, and pop punk because they can have some very poppy aesthetics in some sets…. and also look like they'd play ska in the summerfes fit. also, whatever songs SNOWMAN makes, since that features all their live action actors.

Lastly, ruby models his hair after billy joe cobra because it's my blorbo and I get to make the weird crossover happen

we met through a local teahouse !! its my favourite past time to listen to stories about rex lapis, and i happen to sit in a table with this other person who i later knew as zhongli :3 basically during a story time i accidentally blurted out “i didn’t know rex lapis did that.” and zhongli was kind enough to explain the story further to me !!

we saw each other often in the teahouse, and got closer !! i knew more about him each time i saw him, and i just felt so drawn to him, especially those eyes that somewhat resembled gold a little too well. zhongli was actually the first one to initiate to meet outside the teahouse, we mostly just spent our time walking along the harbour while he talked about the history of liyue. and the more we spent time in each other’s presence the more i fell for him KJSKAJSKSKSN zhongli confessed first of course while we were dining at wangshu inn and yeah !!! zhongli n i are still fairly new so we’re still getting to know each other more, and more each day !!

Pack: Safety.

Cottonmouth is a female coyote beastial, residing on the banks of the stream under Boa’s Hunchback. She has the disability of not being able to open her mask, making it hard for her to eat and drink, breathe, and most importantly fall in line for Packfather Tangerine’s strict rules. Kicked out of camp at only a year old, her adaptations to her surroundings are not to scoff at. She is dense and unwilling to change for the better. Cottonmouth also has a sensitivity to touch and bright lights.

“Ray is a 21 year old vampire bat. He is generally blunt and keeps to himself. He can be a bit rude at times. The only time he’d talk to someone is probably if he needed something or just generally liked you (though he doesn’t show it). He’s also the type of guy who thinks first then act.” - First desc.

Official Character bio: Ray is a male vampire bat beastial whom generally blunt and self-occupied, keeping to himself whenever possible. He’s never shy with his feelings and will point out if you’re doing something different than he would. On the other hand, he struggles with communication with new people, only speaking to them if necessary, to share his own (usually opposite) opinion, or already liked the person he’s speaking to. You can never really tell who he likes or doesn’t. Ray is the type of guy to think before he acts. He lives on Teeth of Dragonbat / the Pack Echo camp, usually advising Packfather Germin.

Hello Everyone in the Objectified/COTH fandom! I’m creating my own comic about multiple razor packs being at war. It would also be about religious beliefs, homes, and how different packs live. Not all of them can live in forests.

This would give more depth to the forest dwellers we know and love.

So, I’m asking you all to send in your own Razor ocs to be put in the comic! Since I’m not too creative. I need rulers for each pack (4), (4) Stone guardians, civilians for each pack (so about 10) and (2) other main characters!

If you want your oc to be added, please provide a short description of characteristics, the pack wanted to be in, and a reference sheet in a reblog, and not through a message! Thank you!

Here is the pack list and description

Pack Safety: Safety guard hoods and masks that come from a slit on their heads. Most mysterious and deadly pack. They will kill with no hesitation anyone that differs from the “standard archetype” of Pack Safety. A usual defect dealt with is their hoods either not completely covering the face and or not being able to slide on and off. Usually developed by kits “too loved” or too hated, due the hood coming automatically on when under stress. This “disability�� is sometimes developed by war veterans too, meaning they have to be executed. Long razor heads with not very much variation in color. Usual beastial type is coyote beastial, if not a coyote beastial, immediately assumed to be a hybrid and is quickly killed with the snap of a neck + the mother’s as well. Live in common pine forest.

Pack Seaside: An aquatic pack that lives on riverbeds and under streams. Have beautiful voices like sirens and fins / gills all around them. Small webs in between talons / fingers. Usually tropical fish and seahorse built tails / fins with alligator limbs other than tail. If furry, usually have Beaver beastial roots

Pack Echo: Usually have draping wings connected to their arms like wyverns, large ears, and night vision. Usually the only razor pack with ears and long tails. They kill or leave kits to die with damaged ears or other injuries, due to the inability to survive in such conditions in the mines and caves they live in. Usually have dragon / bat beastial roots.

Pack Guard: The most loose in control pack, usually with hybrids from other pack types. Thick rubbery glands around face, and usually have magical powers related to thunder (electric razors) only razor type to be able to purr, a signal only used by their pack. Have glowing glands that light up in dark caves/ at night. By far the most artsy and creative pack. Least fearsome pack, though have the most physical strength by far. No definitive beastial type, but bear beastial ancestors were painted on their trees and canvases. Live in common pine forests

when even the sun was prey to the clutches of sleep — when the birds are all huddled up in their nests, songs halted for a while — when the busy streets of the city he has grown lay in gentle rest — zhongli alone stands awake at the corner of his study. the warm light radiating from a small reading lamp danced over the curves and edges of a yellowed piece of parchment. it was quite entertaining to see him so focused on something so mundane but as with all things, change came in a sudden landslide that effectively tipped the scales of whatever sense of normalcy he had gained with his newfound persona.

zhongli sighed softly, back leaning to find the comforts of the plush padding of his chair. over the thousands of years he had lived, he had been called a lot of names: god of war, protector of liyue, god of contracts, prime of the adepti, rex lapis, morax. all of those names demanded respect and reverence from the people, carrying with it a weight that bounded him to duty, and yet for some estranged reason, none of them held anything against the names you have given him. your love, your darling, your lover, your husband, and finally, the father of your child.

it has been three months and fifteen days since the heavens opened and his clear amber eyes caught sight of a bundle of joy nestled in your arms as where it is supposed to be. one hundred and six days have passed and yet, there is still a part of him that believed it was all a dream. the little voice at the back of his head whispered at him tauntingly, saying that try as he might, all that has been given to him would be lost as morax, murderer of many, failure to his friends, did not deserve even an inch of your affection and this paradise you offer to him.

it was almost ironic for him to crumble down due to the self-induced jabs at his vulnerabilities. zhongli, a man who stood against time, mostly unwavering, suddenly weak on his knees. if he told you this three months ago, you would've laughed and found humor in it but right now, you were too exhausted to care. it has been a tough few months. you moved from one task to the other, trying to keep your newfound family together while he was busy wallowing in his fears and insecurities. he felt dirty— unworthy— pathetic. he was your husband. he should've been better. he should've offered more than a sympathetic smile and a quick massage at your strained muscles. he should've battled and won against the senseless worries that plagued his mind. he should've—

his sharp ears caught the sudden wail that cut through the silence like lightning against the murky skies. suddenly, everything was clear and his mind was once again his own. he moved with practiced ease, poise unleaving despite the quick steps he took to the nursery — the very same he built with his own hands. his lips twitched upward as washed-out memories resurfaced and his heart bloomed with a warmth he recognized to be the same as those from the time he was proclaimed victor against his foes in his many conquests.

the nursery was built with careful precision. he remembered checking everything at least six times before allowing you to place the baby inside a crib they immediately nuzzled in. the little crib mobile, custom-made and gifted by hu tao who appeared to contain thrice of your excitement at the prospect of new life, was secured three times in his worry that it'll fall over their fragile head.

fragility. innocence. softness. the young child was the living embodiment of those unfamiliar terms and yet as zhongli leaned down, his eyes mirrored exactly that. a hand hesitantly rose, stopping mid-air for a second, before his knuckle caressed the patch of skin just below their wide, glossy eyes.

"good morning, little dove."

the baby made a sound at the nickname he had grown to associate with their real name. at this, zhongli let out a throaty chuckle, his hand moving to smoothen down the tuft of hair that was messed up in their sleep.

"you'd have to tune it down lest you wake the entire city up."

zhongli shook his head in amusement. he knew it was no use saying that but for some reason, the words slipped off his tongue easily, like how your hands would slide along fine silk. blinking away such meaningless thoughts, he sent a smile to the baby who was staring at him curiously. with as much ease for a man who could easily lift a boulder, he brought the young child up, eliciting a happy squeak in response. carefully, he stepped around the toys that you had forgotten to pick up and moved to the corner of the room where the window displayed the night sky that reigned brilliantly over the lands of teyvat.

"would you like to hear a story? i found that it helps soothe your mother to sleep more often than naught."

the baby babbled, incoherent sounds slipping past their lips which zhongli nodded at, accepting that as a 'yes' before slipping into his mind as he looked for a story suitable for a child.

"ah yes... i remember overhearing a mother, no less than two thousand years ago, telling this to her child. who would've known i would retell it to mine?" tiny, soft giggles filled the room as zhongli adjusted the baby's clothing, accidentally lingering on a spot ticklish for the little sapling.

"a little boy had a cake that a big boy coveted. deciding to get the cake without making the little boy cry so loud as to attract his mother's attention, the big boy remarked that the cake would be prettier if it were more like the moon."

zhongli's eyes shifted to the silver glowing orb before moving back to the child tightly gripping his sleepwear. the sight of them, so smooth and unharmed as the moonlight highlighted their flushed cheeks brought a comforting tug in his heart.

"the little boy thought that a cake like a moon must be desirable, and on being assured by the big boy that he had made many as such, he handed over his cake for manipulation."

"the big boy took a big mouthful, leaving a crescent with jagged edges." zhongli gently squeezed the baby's cheeks almost as if mimicking the boy from the story, "but the little boy was not pleased by the change and began to whimper."

the baby blinked, whimpering when zhongli untangled their hand from his shirt only to calm as soon as he placed a bottle of lukewarm milk in their mouth.

"the big boy pacified him by saying that he would make the cake a half-moon. and so, he nibbled the horns of the crescent and gnawed the edges smooth. but when the half-moon was made, the little boy perceived that there was hardly any cake left so he again began to snivel."

his child eagerly nibbled on the plastic nub and zhongli's eyes immediately softened at the sight. how can such a beautiful creation untarnished by all the ink stains the world leaves in its wake exist? he didn't know the answer nor did he care much about seeking it out if it meant that he can immortalize the serenity etched on their face forever.

"the big boy again diverted by telling him that, if he did not like so small a moon, he should have one that was just the size of the real orb. he then took the cake and explained that, just before the new moon is seen, the old moon disappears then he swallowed the rest of the cake and ran off, leaving the little boy waiting for the new moon."

the baby has long stopped suckling on the bottle and was busying themself with a long, curious stare at their father. huffing in barely hidden adulation, zhongli leaned down, bumping their noses together before resting his forehead on theirs, much to the utter delight of his child.

"my little moon, when the time comes that someone comes into your life and tries to harm you in any way they dare to, know that i will be there. i will protect you until i am mere dust in the wind."

the wind blows gently against the open window, carrying his tender voice to the ears of those who were awake to witness such a golden sight. here stood rex lapis in his glory, eyes telling tales of unconditional adoration that he could only grasp now.

"when the time comes that you seek the taste of moon cakes, know that i will be there. i will give you the world if you so seek it to be but until then, i'd settle on learning how to make them for you."

the baby's eyes slowly drooped into a close, comforted by words they may not be old enough to understand and the feeling of their father's warm touch and devotion.

"and when the time comes that you no longer need me to be there, know that i will love you until the pillars long-standing fall. to you, i am eternally duty-bound. this... this is my contract to you."

it was his most important contract yet, maybe on par with the contract that promised his perpetuity to you. try as he might, the nagging feeling that something will go awry would not leave nor would the feeling that he was not enough— not nearly human enough to nurture this kind soul. but as he cradles his child in his arms, as their head rests against his chest that beat and pumped for them, he realizes that maybe it didn't need to go away. maybe it was simply one of the constituents that this newfound change brought him. maybe suffocating in all the things that could go wrong and relishing in all the things that went right was simply the aftertaste of fatherhood.

either way, zhongli carefully trod back to the crib, gently tucking the sleeping baby in the soft, fuzzy blankets he bought that fateful day. finally, he placed their arms around a small dragon plushie reminiscent of who he was before all these marvels. leaving them with one last peck in the forehead, he slowly moved to walk away before deciding that he had not the heart to leave. instead, he settled in a chair he pulled closer and reached down gently, letting two long fingers cling onto one tiny hand.

"rest easy, little dove. i shall be here when the morning comes."

and that night, both father and child slept without even a shadow of the nightmares that plagued them.

another message for this evening, though i am just reaching out about pre-canon zhongli, and.. goodness gracious.

his story is so sad and compelling; hopefully he gets another update to his ‘historia antiqua’ story quest because.. wow. the fact that he went from being the— as far as we know— likely merciless and insanely powerful morax, a / the god of war sealing enemies at the bottom of the seas to establish his dominance as ruler of the land, to being the revered rex lapis, champion of the people.. only to then become rex lapis, the lonely god without a sense of purpose, and even later still to become zhongli, a god among men (literally and metaphorically).

phenomenal, isn’t it? and that’s not to say he is not without flaws! he is stubborn, is often wrapped up in the past, and— as hinted at in his teapot dialogues— is at times inflexible on change. his new combat voice lines also show that, in combat, he’s not the strategic and carefully-planning man we know him to be in the main story line, but rather as someone who acts first, often relentlessly or even impulsively, and deals with the consequences after the dust settles. his personality is so complex and despite all we have learned about him through his voice lines, character profiles, and story quests, he is still such a mystery, is he not?

just. wow. i do believe in zhongli supremacy so i may very well be (re: definitely am) biased in favor of him, but just. goodness.

oh yes Zhongli - let’s chat about how much of a character roller coaster he has been. He is for sure a complex character and I love these deep dives youve brought to me

right now we see him as careful calm, but in the moment he can get intense and impulsive for sure -- behavior that ingrained is still within us even if we do our best to change

this isn’t exactly a fanfic but not exactly a list of headcanons either. it’s basically an “I suck at writing but I’ve already planned out an entire story”. is there a beginning, climax, and satisfying ending? no lmao

-📋 story description 📋-

xiao and hu tao get together and have a family. hu tao is 19 at the start of this fic if you’re wondering. I just really needed to get this story out my system...hehe...and reply to this post if you can figure out why the story is called Butterfly Baby

-‼️warnings‼️-

mild spoilers, also this was written on 2/7/2021 so some stuff might seem incorrect after more story quests come out. also major character death if you read the alternate ending

-📜 the actual writing 📜-

• hu tao and xiao start hanging out together (aka hu tao comes to bother xiao and eat almond tofu with him whenever he stops by wangsheng inn)

• xiao eventually grows fond for hu tao but makes many attempts to keep her at an arms distance, all of which were in vain

• xiao and hu tao are both in denial about being in love but obviously xiao takes his denial to a whole other level

• xiao doesn’t visit the inn for 2 weeks but eventually caves and goes back because he missed hu tao the silky texture of almond tofu

• ganyu finds out after overhearing verr goldet (desk lady at wangshu inn) reporting back to ningguang about her observations

• ganyu thinks it’s an exaggeration until she goes to wangshu inn for some business affairs sees xiao and hu tao chatting over some almond tofu and tea

• xiao pretends to not notice ganyu peering from behind a wall

• xiao brings it up during ganyu’s adepti training (ganyu story quest) and she just looks away and apologizes

• xiao knows she wouldn’t tell anyone so he doesn’t bother making her feel even worse than she already does

• xiao and hu tao start actually dating (in secret) but it’s hard to keep at least a few people from noticing an adepti and a funeral parlor director walking near the outskirts of town

• xiao once again tries to distance himself because he feels like he’s not worthy of her love after all the people he’s killed and that an adeptus can’t be with a mortal, hu tao shuts that argument down with “but I don’t care”

• hu tao is a bit hurt that he thinks it matters if she’s a mortal

• she laughs at the rumors that she’s dating an adeptus even if it’s true

• zhong li eventually hears about the rumors and is pretty sure it’s true because hu tao comes to his statue everyday and recently brought up questions about love

• fast forward 10 months of hush hush dating and he finally proposes. no ring or anything fancy, just a simple “do you want to get married?” while they stood at the peak of guyun stone forest

• hu tao says yes without even thinking about it and immediately kisses him and starts excitedly talking about wedding plans that she totally hasn’t been thinking about for the past 3 months

• xiao comes to ganyu to ask for help with wedding planning and ganyu nearly looses her head when she hears him say “so I’m engaged now..”

• hu tao somehow convinced zhong li to help her with planning

• zhong li isn’t too shocked about the engagement but hopes that xiao knows what he’s getting himself into

• hu tao, with a lot of effort, convinces xiao to move into the wangsheng funeral parlor with her

• xiao has a tough time adjusting to mundane life (haha get it because- no? not funny? ok I’ll stop)

• it doesn’t take much negotiation with ningguang to secure a venue at yujing terrace

• xiao would’ve preferred a private wedding at jueyun karst but didn’t know how to ask cloud retainer about it

• one month of planning later and they get married at yujing terrace

• basically everyone in Liyue attends the wedding including traveler

• the adepti got their invites delivered from ganyu and watched the wedding from afar

• I know nothing about Chinese weddings so uhhhh that’s for the reader to dream about

• hu tao throws a flower ball made of silk flowers into the crowd (customs of liyue, volume 1)

• may or may not have forgotten about contraception during their wedding night.....

• too embarrassed to go down to bubu pharmacy get morning after medicine

• hu tao prays to rex lapis that she won’t get pregnant

• zhong li, sipping his tea: I pretend I do not hear

• xiao doesn’t know if he should tell hu tao about zhong li being rex lapis so he just hopes he’ll never have to reveal that secret

• xiao nearly breaks his skull on the wall when he realizes what he’s getting himself into

• people of Liyue are still in shock about an adeptus marrying a mortal (since they were never confirmed to be dating beforehand) and nearly explode with buzz when the funeral parlor director starts growing a baby bump

• “have you seen the wangsheng funeral parlor director? last time I saw her, it looked like her belly was growing a bit. do you think she’s pregnant? oh my archons, a half adeptus baby? I can’t believe it!”

• xiao asks zhong li if he can go out an order a crib, rocking chair, baby clothes, etc for him

• zhong li obviously says yes

• fast forward 9 months and hu tao goes into labor just an hour before the funeral parlor was closing for the day

• zhong li rushes hu tao to her room and tells the undertakers to fetch the midwife

• hu tao calls for xiao and of course xiao is there within 10 seconds

• midwife nearly shits herself when she walks into the bedroom and sees an adeptus

•the midwife nervously asks if xiao was the father

• there was a popular (false) rumor going around that hu tao had an affair with zhong li and the baby was his, mostly because people refused to believe that hu tao was pregnant with a half adeptus baby. these rumors were only fueled further when zhong li was overheard asking a shop keeper if he should order multiple sizes of baby onesies just in case.

• zhong li just nods his head and xiao looks away in shame

• midwife gives helps deliver the baby while thinking “if I fuck this up, this adeptus is going to kill me”

• surprise! the baby is completely fine and healthy

• ganyu asked the qixing if she could take a day off (much to the shock of everyone who knew she wouldn’t even take her yearly vacation leave)

• ganyu has never ran so quickly down Liyue’s streets and nearly kicked down the funeral parlor door

• hu tao is a very fun and free mom and teaches the kid to become a tiny ball of chaos with the pyromania of klee and the sneakiness of yaoyao. aka the kid is now unstoppable

• hu tao teaches her daughter how to master pyro, how to write poetry, and most importantly, how to become a funeral parlor director

• the daughter actually prefers swords over poles and gets classes from the guhua clan, and more specifically,

• zhong li was very eager to give the kid a vision and was managed to get the pyro archons permission

• xiao confronts zhong li about the vision it in secret

• xiao: you gave her a pyro vision. do you know how destructive she will be?

• zhong li, taking another sip of tea: ✨ I pretend I do not hear ✨

• hu tao overhears the conversation and puts two and two together

• hu tao and xiao have their first ever argument ever since they got married

• “why didn’t you tell me before?”

• “because it was a secret!”

• back and forth until they hear the baby waking up and crying

• they agree that there’s no point in arguing now and go off to calm down the baby

• they end up living a happy life as a family of three, and after hu tao’s death, xiao continues to raise the child as much as he can (with the help of zhong li and ganyu)

• their daughter becomes the 78th director of the wangsheng funeral parlor

• osial somehow wakes up during one lantern rite

• xiao was distracted by a different, much smaller, demon

• the guizhong ballista and jade chamber had been repaired by now and were better than before, and they were able to defeat osial without sacrificing the jade chamber again

• however they didn’t get to the jade chamber fast enough and a small part of Liyue was destroyed

• one place in that part of liyue being the wangsheng funeral parlor

• xiao is overcome by grief because he believe it was his fault that he wasn’t able to protect this family

• he finally succumbs to the corruption

• what he didn’t know what was that hu tao did indeed die in the destruction, but his daughter (currently age 12) was still perfectly well and alive

• ganyu takes in the daughter

• zhong li took over the post as director after hu tao’s death and became the 78th director

• zhong li continued to teach the daughter about how to properly run a business and conduct flawless funerals

• the daughter becomes the 79th director of the wangsheng funeral parlor when she’s 18

• she also becomes the new demonslayer of the adepti, following in her father’s footsteps

• even through the trauma of witnessing her mother’s untimely death and being given the news that her father’s had also died, she made it through and raised a happy family of her own, while wearing the hat that her mom passed down.

New Idol-themed Original TV Anime Gekidol Releases 1st Character Song MV by Its Protagonist Girl Seria

The official website for Hoods Entertainment's upcoming original TV anime Gekidol has started streaming a two-minute music video for its first character song "Deandelion Girl" performed by the protagonist Seria Morino (CV: Hikaru Akao). This clip contains a lot of scenes of her that are introduced for the first time.

Akao, who is 25 now, made her voice actress debut in 2015 and has performed many character songs for various anime series, such as Comic Girls (2018), Back Street Girls: Gokudolls (2019), Endro! (2019), Lapis Re:Lights (2020), and the ongoing Assault Lily Bouquet (2020).

The TV anime Gekidol is set to premiere on AT-X in Japan on January 5, 2021, then on BS Fuji five days later. One day before its regular broadcast begins, its first episode and the special edition of Alice in Deadly School, which will be told as a story within in the anime, will be aired in a New Year's special program on TOKYO MX and AT-X on January 4, 2021.

Shigeru Ueda (UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie) is attached to direct, alongside chief writer Keiichiro Oochi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) and anime character designer/chief animation director Hijiri Tateishi (Val × Love). Foods Entertainment (3D Kanojo Real Girl) works on anime production.

Story introduction:

It has been five years since the mysterious disaster - Global Simultaneous City Disappearance. While still being in turmoil, but the world has been slowly recovering. In such a world, There are girls who are attracted to the stage plays using "Theatrical Material System" with 3D holograms and aiming for the shining stage.
